When describing a world in which no one has ever lied, there are several factors and points of view that may be taken into consideration. Society is comprised of the religious, judicial, and economical branches and each branch is established on some basic principles that are assumed to be held true. Therefore, in a world without lies, all the principles would be correct. Also, since in some way, each lie affects the world we live in, the rippling effects of a lie are not present in a world where no one has ever lied. From a religious perspective, a world absent from lies would mean that religious unity and conformity would be strengthened. There would be no such thing as confessions to priests about lies and mistakes made in the past.
Religions would be purer because religious leaders would all be honest and uninhibited trust would be placed on people on the leaders. Also, uninhibited trust would be placed on judges. In fact, there would be no need for lawyers because if someone did commit a crime, then they would automatically confess when questioned. In fact, the whole law profession would cease to exist. There wouldnt have been a need for the profession, and therefore, anything related to the law profession would also be nonexistent.
There would be no law schools and law firms in a world where no one has ever lied. Furthermore, legal contracts are nonexistent in a world where no one has ever lied. Verbal agreements would be the ultimate seal as far as business agreements are concerned, because complete trust would exist between the two parties.
